Nurse Practitioner/Owner

Dr. Mick Peterson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Mick earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. Upon graduation, he worked in an ICU. In that role, he provided top-notch bedside nursing services to hospital patients. After four years, Mick decided to return to school to earn his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

Mick graduated with his DNP degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND in 2017. He opened Health Now to provide primary care services in a more individualized way.

More about Mick

I am a proud husband and father of four beautiful children. I was born and raised in Bismarck. I went to UND for my undergraduate degree in nursing. I moved back to Bismarck after graduation, got married, and started my career in nursing. I went back to the University of Mary for my Doctor of Nursing Practice and became a family nurse practitioner.

In 2020, I saw a need for a new kind of care and access to medical help. I started Health Now as an online telehealth clinic to reach patients that felt uncomfortable leaving their home and with limited or no access to healthcare facilities. After a year, I found the location at Dakota Natural Health Center to add in person visits, labs, infusions, and other needs of patients. I am passionate about caring for people in a holistic manner and educating patients on their health. I look forward to meeting you!

Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Tori Weinand, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

My journey into healthcare began with a desire to truly help people feel seen and supported in their health. Growing up in Hazen, North Dakota, I was drawn to nursing as a way to combine compassion with science, and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary in 2018. Over the years, I’ve worked as a hospital floor nurse as well as in education and leadership roles, experiences that shaped how I approach patient care. I later completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Mary and now practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

I provide care for patients of all ages and enjoy supporting the whole family, with a special passion for natural health and women’s health. In addition to my clinic practice at Health Now, I also work with The Women’s Health RN team, an online health program, where I help women address hormonal and digestive concerns through functional lab testing, nutrition, and cycle-based education. My training in the Marquette Method of Natural Family Planning and the FACTS for Fertility program allows me to guide women in better understanding their cycles and therefore, their health. Across all settings, my goal is to provide holistic, compassionate, and personalized care that empowers patients to feel confident in their health journey.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our little boy, and we are excited to be welcoming our second child in the coming year. With that same joy and care, I look forward to supporting you and your family in your health journey.
